Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Awareness Month Statement

October is breast cancer awareness month, and this year it looks a little different for Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation. We have made shifts in the way that we fundraise and the way we provide life-saving and life-changing services and wellness programs, but our mission remains the same.

“Provide comprehensive services to the underserved through education, mammograms, and patient navigation on the journey from diagnosis to survivorship with the compassion to ensure no one fights alone.”

We know many of you share our passion and we want to thank each of you for finding innovative ways to spread awareness and raise funds during these challenging times. While the requests for assistance have grown each month of 2020, the safety and health of our staff, clients, volunteers and supporters remain our top priority.

We sincerely appreciate all of your virtual, safe, and socially distanced events and are in awe of the innovative fundraisers many of you have created to help support us. We hope you all understand that at this time, we are unable to send staff and volunteers to any in-person events but we are happy to attend virtually to be part of your event if you would like a Libby’s Legacy representative to speak.
