Pink Ribbon Garden Application

We are so excited to have you as a Pink Ribbon Gardener! This year we are opening it up to not only breast cancer survivors but co-survivors and those growing in memory of a loved one. You may be wondering what signing up as a PRG means, so here is a breakdown.

What you GET : to grow vegetables with fellow thrivers, to tend the garden once a week (30 minutes approx ) and special harvest days. Gardening includes weeding, watering, pruning, harvesting and more. You get to enjoy gardening with amazing women, help prevent breast cancer recurrence and take your health back !

What you GIVE : it’s so special to be able to give and with our grow one, give one program, you are able to give a harvest bag to someone in current treatment or need and there’s no greater feeling. You also get to give the gift of health to your own family by cooking healthy, growing healthy foods and bringing that knowledge home.

The Pink Ribbon Garden is a living beacon of hope for survivors and their families. We ask that each volunteer commit to one full growing season (growing seasons vary per region). Our coordinators will provide you direct information about growing seasons in the garden of your choice. What garden are you interested in?
Pink Ribbon Garden Time Commitment: Each member must commit to a minimum of one visit per week to their assigned garden during the growing season. Do you understand this commitment request?*
