300 Bricks pay off the Libby’s Legacy building in memory of Jeanette Bokland
Nearly 8 years ago Libby’s Legacy moved into our very own building after working out of donated office space for 10 years. Libby’s Legacy’s new home has given us a comfortable place for clients and survivors alike, where we coordinate services and provide 1:1 support and hope. It’s a beautiful space.
Our amazing Former Board Chair, Jeanette Bokland was a driving force for the purchase of this building even when we weren’t sure how we would pay for it, she just had faith that a way would come because the need was there and we’ve never turned anyone away.
In April 2024 still filled with positivity and grace, Jeanette transitioned from this earthly world. Her wife, Linda called and has taken on the incredible goal of getting this house of hope PAID OFF ! She continues to fundraise ( nearly $40K already )with a lofty goal of the remaining balloon of $200,000 to help us continue to save and change lives. As a Realtor/Brokerage ( C21 Spouses with Houses ) Jeanette and Linda were a force to be reckoned with and we have no doubt Linda will carry the torch and complete her compassionate mission. We are so grateful and now we need YOU !
